Custom product pages

Pages with their own screens, promotional text, keywords and deep link.

A custom product page is a page you link to: from an ad, a campaign, or the search results for the keywords it answers to. Each has:

  • screens of its own, in its own order;
  • a deep link (myapp://screen or an https:// link): where the app opens when it is installed from this page;
  • per language, promotional text (170 characters), shown above the description on this page;
  • per language, the keywords it answers to in search, picked from the app's own keyword field (Listing). A language with no keywords yet says so.

Pages counts the promotional text against its limit as you type.

In the files

Pages live in store/manifest.json under sets, and their text in each language's content file:

"sets": [
  { "id": "anxiety", "kind": "custom", "name": "Anxiety", "deepLink": "braele://session/478",
    "screens": ["lock", "voice", "hero"] }
]

After the first upload the page also carries ascId, App Store Connect's id for it, so later uploads update the same page. Unlink from App Store Connect forgets it, for a page you deleted there; the next upload then matches by name.
